WHY A SELF-CARE RETREAT?

Our winter self-care retreat is designed to support you in cultivating deep, sustainable self-care practices. This retreat offers a space to reconnect with your own practice, restore balance, and integrate self-care rituals that replenish your energy and inspire you be the best version of you.

Our self-care retreat is an opportunity to step outside of your daily routine and cultivate rejuvenating yoga and meditation practices, learn Ayurvedic wisdom for inner and outer balance, and explore ways to build resilience to meet the demands of your life. This is your opportunity to invest in yourself, and reap the rewards of long-lasting good health!

The Process

Daily yoga and meditation practice - When life gets busy it's not uncommon to have times where your practice falls by the wayside.  Ramping up your self-practices offer an opportunity to recharge, enhance your personal growth, and live from greater wisdom and insight.  This retreat is a gift to yourself that will fill your cup and revitalise your mind, body and soul!

Self-care practices - We draw from the timeless principles of yoga and Ayurveda to cultivate a deeper connection to our own self-care. Simply having the space to connect with what's in one's heart can offer greater insights into what's needed to stay nourished within the busyness of life.

Nurture time - We all have different requirements when it comes to nurturing our mind, body and soul.  We’ll deepen our connection to nature by exploring local bush tracks, beach walks, beach swims (weather dependant), and living in nature’s daily rhythms rising with the sun.  There will be free time to wander, breath the fresh ocean air, gaze out to the horizon, or curl up with a book from our extensive yoga library.

Nourishment - More than just nutrition, true nourishment comes from sharing meals with a sense of gratitude and connection to the abundance provided by the earth.  Daily whole food breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be prepared with love from fresh, primarily organic produce, and are vegetarian and gluten-free. Dietary requirements can be catered for if we’re notified in advance.  You'll be introduced to the holistic wisdom of Ayurveda, and you'll learn how to balance your digestion and rejuvenate your wellbeing through food and nourishment.

Logistics:

Location of the retreat is Macmasters Beach on the Central Coast, only 90 minutes drive away from Sydney's CBD.  If you don't have transport, please let us know and we'll aim to organise a car-pool with a fellow retreater. Arrival time on Friday is from 2pm; departure time on Sunday from 2pm
