Jo’s classes are a fluid flow of breath and movement – playful yet grounding. With three year’s teaching experience taking her from London to Sydney, Jo’s initial training in Thai Yin Yoga allowed her to explore the depth of mind that can be achieved with a quiet, yin practice. On her arrival in Sydney she trained in Vinyasa Flow Yoga at InYoga with Nicole Walsh, who has continued to be an inspiring mentor. She has since trained in movement-led Strala Yoga with Tara Stiles in Singapore.
“I dipped my toe in the yogi water about ten years ago and practiced a few styles such as Hatha, Anusara and Iyengar with some amazing teachers, but when I found the grace of Vinyasa it just felt like coming home. From that day onwards, yoga has become a daily practice both on and off the mat.”
